Course/s | Archaeology of Death at the Roman City of Pompeii | |
My Opinion | My first experience with Sanisera was through the Archaeology of Death at the Roman City of Pompeii course, working in the Porta Nola Necropolis. I was given the opportunity to work with cremated human remains, infant burials, and the plaster casts of Pompeii - all of which were exciting and valuable learning experiences for an osteology student. My experiences in the program were wonderful, and not only did they teach me a range of new, important methodologies and subjects, it was also extremely fun. My supervisors and the site directors were more than helpful, always friendly, and always willing to answer questions and dive into more detail when requested. |
