My experience in Sanisera
Year/s | 2016 | |
Course/s | Underwater Survey and Maritime Archaeology
My Opinion | Sanisera was both professional and comfortable for my first field school experience. It was very organized and I feel like I learned more from my chosen program and from my like-minded peers, and though my focus was underwater, I got to dip my toe in other courses as well. Many of the things I learned were unexpected, such as photogrammetry, in-depth history, and survey methods. I walked away with a sense that I contributed to the survey and understood what archaeology is like in the field. I also built lasting connections with my peers in the industry, and gained skills to take with me as I build my career. |
