My experience in Sanisera
Year/s 2019
Course/s 010 Dig in Roman City in Sanisera, Digging Anthropology in the Sanisera Necropolis
My Opinion I spent approximately a week with Sanisera, and I dug for four days. I would alternate every other day between digging stones in the basilica with Researcher Julia Coso Alvarez and digging bones in the necropolis with Researcher Julia Benet Cugat. It was a really enriching experience and has helped shape my interest in archaeology and Classics. I learned plenty of useful information through lab work and field work, and cleaning bones and sorting pottery were really interesting. Thank you for making my time at Sanisera incredible. I hope to return next summer if I can.
