Course/s | 039: ANTHROPOLOGY OF THE DEATH AT THE ROMAN CITIES OF POMPEII (NAPLES – ITALY) AND SANISERA (ES MERCADAL – MENORCA – BALEARIC ISLANDS – SPAIN) | |
My Opinion | In Pompeii I had the opportunity to excavate at the Necropolis de Porta Nola and study the casts of individuals who died during the second wave of the Vesuvius eruption in 79A.D. While in Menorca, I was able to excavate a co-mingled grave from a necropolis believed to date from the 5-6 century AD. I met a fantastic group of individuals and was able to develop/expand my excavation skills. I will definitely return for future sessions. |
