020 The Roman City of Sanisera (Spain) & Making an Archaeological Film (Menorca, Spain)
In the first part of the course, participant's fieldwork will focus on the excavation of an urban area where a monastery was discovered. The monastery is from the 5th and 6th centuries AD, includes an early Christian basilica. Participants will learn and apply the Harris system. In the Laboratory, subtends will learn to classify archaeological material from the site, including Roman pottery, numismatics and faunal remains. During the second part of the course, students will learn about the process of creating documentary video footage, preparing a plot, selection of scenes, sound and different aspects of audiovisuals.

021 Biological Anthropology in the Sanisera Necropolis & Making an Archaeological Film (Menorca, Spain)
This course has two main parts. During the first part, fieldwork focuses on the excavation of funerary structures, specifically inhumation graves. In the laboratory students will learn to classify artifacts found, mainly human skeletal remains. During the second part of the course, students will learn about the process of creating documentary video footage, preparing a plot, selection of scenes, sound and different aspects of audiovisuals.
